This 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Hotrod is a beautifully crafted vehicle with a blend of vintage and custom features. It has a Tan exterior, a Blue interior, and is powered by a 392 Dual Quad HEMI V8 engine from a 1957 Chrysler Imperial. The push button automatic transmission, dual quad Edelbrock 650 carburetors, and Zoomies headers are notable features. Built on a custom-made Z channel frame, it has an all-steel body with a rake, steelies up front, and Pontiac hubcaps at the back. The interior includes a 1930s steering wheel, Stuart Warner gauges, and a two-way horn switch. This hotrod offers a unique combination of classic and custom elements, making it a standout vehicle. Micheal Svoboda is the COO of Driveway Deals and has a love for corvettes since middle school when he seen a 63 Split Window going through restoration.

This beautiful custom-built hotrod, with 3,309 miles, was constructed approximately ten years ago and boasts a variety of custom touches. It’s powered by a 392 Dual Quad HEMI V8 engine from a 1957 Chrysler Imperial, paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. 

 

 

Exterior: The exterior of this 1929 Ford Model A Roadster is finished in Tan and showcases an all-steel body. Custom features include a custom chrome rear bumper, an Indian hood ornament, and great tail lights with red lenses that spell “STOP.” It sits on steelies up front with pie crust cheater slick tires and Pontiac hubcaps at the rear. The lights and turn signal indicators are fully functional. 

 

 

Interior: Inside, the hotrod features a nice Blue interior with a 1930s steering wheel and Stuart Warner gauges, including a Harley-Davidson speedometer (non-operational). It also has a two-way horn switch, allowing the driver to choose between regular horns and an Ahooga horn. The flat gas tank is located behind the seat, providing a vintage touch.

 

 

Mechanical: Mechanically, this 1929 Ford Model A Roadster is equipped with a 392ci Dual Quad HEMI V8 engine from a 1957 Chrysler Imperial, and a push button automatic transmission also from a Chrysler Imperial. It features dual quad Edelbrock 650 carburetors, Zoomies headers, steel heads, and an aluminum intake. Other mechanical details include a mechanical fuel pump, Mallory magneto ignition coil, electric fans, a straight axle up front with a 6-inch drop axle at the back, and a Chevrolet 12 bolt Posi rear. It also has old-fashioned friction shocks and iconic finned, vented aluminum drum brakes up front from a 1966 Buick Wild Cat.
