Dressed in the correct #974 Rally Red paint and black convertible top, with its numbers matching 327-300 horse engine, M20 4-speed transmission, power steering and brakes, side pipes, add-on 427 Stinger hood, and Knock-off wheels with Redline tires, it’s ready to knock your socks off and throw your head back!  This Corvette is as good as it gets for a small-block 1967!

 

 

Exterior: This ’67 looks to have been repainted back to the original color of #974 Rally Red, again as verified by the Trim Tag. The Rally Red paint job looks super on the body with its retractable headlights, the front fender louver design, and is set off by red/black 427 Stinger hood and the black convertible top, wide back-up lights centered in the rear panel, and ours rides on the Knockoff wheels and redline tires for the period correct look.

 

 

Interior: Your first venture inside a ’67 Corvette will convince you that here’s a cockpit luxuriously rigged for two. Black all-vinyl bucket seats have the grain look of real leather with back-rests and foam-cushioned seats are bordered by narrow front and side bolsters that let you ride deep and comfortably. Corvette’s instrument panel is a devotee’s delight. Safety-padded, vinyl-covered and replete with those instruments so important to the serious driver. The large speedometer and tachometer are front and center with ammeter, oil pressure gauge and electrically operated temperature and fuel lever gauges round out the engine performance indicators. It has color-keyed deep-twist black carpeting covers every inch of exposed floor area as well as floor mats, rich looking wooden steering wheel, console that houses the 4-speed shifter, all is in original looking restored condition.

 

 

Mechanical: Standard engine in a ’67 Corvette is the 300-horsepower 327-cu.-in. V8. The 300-horse engine utilizes a general-performance cam and has a compression ratio of 10.0:1 Ours is the original, numbers matching engine as verified by the #3892657 engine casting number on the block and the HE stamping Code on the front pad that was the 300 horsepower engine in 1967. It has the manual 4-speed Transmission, chrome factory open air cleaner with the 327-300 Horse decal, Plain factory orange painted valve covers, engine block, intake, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, shielded distributor, power steering and brakes, and dual exhaust with the side-pipes. It looks like brand new in the engine compartment as does the rest of the presentation.
