Micheal Svoboda's View

Get ready for an exceptional opportunity to own a piece of American automotive history! Up for auction is a stunning 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible... Micheal Svoboda is the COO of Driveway Deals and has a love for corvettes since middle school when he seen a 63 Split Window going through restoration.

This classic beauty has only 59,000 miles on the odometer and boasts a numbers-matching drivetrain, making it a true collector’s dream. With its gorgeous color combination, original body panels, and a well-documented ownership history, this Corvette is sure to impress at any event or gathering.

Exterior: The exterior of this Corvette is a showstopper, featuring the original body panels with beautiful body lines, and a rust-free frame. The car is finished in a striking Elkhart Blue (Color Code #980), with a custom hood painted in the early 1970s by a local Central Pennsylvania artist named Hank Z. The convertible also comes with a hardtop painted in the same color scheme, as well as a soft top in great shape. Currently, the car sits on cool, period-correct vintage Cragers, but the original 15×6 wheels on red-line bias-ply tires are included in the sale.

Interior: Inside, the Corvette is equally captivating, featuring a teal blue interior (Code #418) with blue vinyl upholstery. The cabin has been well-maintained, and everything works exactly as it should. You’ll also find the factory AM/FM stereo for your listening pleasure during long cruises or drives around town.

Mechanical: Under the hood, you’ll find the completely original 327/300 L75 motor, paired with an M21 close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission. The 3.36 Posi-Traction rear end is perfect for cruising, and the car runs at 180 degrees all day long. To further enhance its performance, the 4-wheel disc brake system has been completely updated, including the installation of cross-drilled slotted rotors. This Corvette also features a factory side exhaust, ensuring an incredible sound as you drive.

Overview: This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is an outstanding example of a classic American sports car. Having changed ownership only a handful of times, with the prior owner keeping it for nearly fifty years, it’s been shown at numerous events, earning many awards and trophies. Located in East Meadow, NY, this Corvette is a pleasure to drive – fast, tight, and reliable. Don’t miss your chance to own this incredible piece of automotive history!
