Micheal Svoboda's View

This is a nice driver quality car that needs a few small odds and ends to take it to the next level, but it runs and drives great, has a great look, and is a complete running and driving C3 Corvette with about $4,000 worth of work just performed to the steering, suspension, brakes, and headlights. Just over half of the 77 Vettes received cruise control on their 180 horsepower engines. Micheal Svoboda is the COO of Driveway Deals and has a love for corvettes since middle school when he seen a 63 Split Window going through restoration.

Preview: Get ready for a classic American ride with this 1977 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. With its distinctive Slate Blue paint, this C3 Corvette is a head-turner. Under the hood, it packs a built 350 CID V8 engine featuring upgrades like aluminum heads, Edelbrock Performer intake, Summit Racing 4-barrel carburetor, and more. Paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission, this Stingray offers a thrilling driving experience. It’s equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, t-tops, and even cruise control. This Corvette is a complete running and driving classic, with recent upgrades to the steering, suspension, brakes, and headlights.

Exterior: The Slate Blue paint on this Corvette is what sets it apart. Complemented by wire wheels and raised white letter radial tires, this Stingray showcases a timeless aesthetic. It’s a real head-turner, staying true to the classic Corvette design. The Stingray emblem proudly adorns the fenders, paying homage to its heritage.

Interior: Inside, you’ll find a comfortable cabin featuring vinyl bucket seats and a tilt steering wheel. The factory options include power windows and cruise control. An AM/FM/CD player has been added for your listening pleasure. The interior offers a blend of classic charm and modern convenience.

Mechanical: Beneath the hood, the built 350 V8 engine roars to life. Upgrades like aluminum heads, Edelbrock Performer intake, Summit Racing carburetor, and Hooker headers with side pipes give this Corvette a healthy rumble. With power steering and power brakes, it’s a pleasure to drive. Recent work has been done to improve the steering, suspension, brakes, and headlights, ensuring a smooth and safe ride.

Overview: The 1977 Corvette is the last year for the Stingray name until recently, and this one wears it proudly on the fenders. This one has cruise control and a ZTB suffix code engine which was 245 horsepower stock, and is now pushing closer to 300! That’s quite an upgrade over the stock output. A Corvette should have power to spare, but these sure didn’t from the factory! But when people hear this 350 rumbling through the side pipe exhaust, they will know your 1977 Corvette is far from stock!
