With the rapid increase in Corvette sales in 1960, Mitchell got the nod to start the restyle for the 61 year and the changes were the introduction of a freshened rear end design, now commonly known as the “ducktail” design (as it has become known amongst Corvette enthusiasts). The new rear end also showcased a pair of small, round taillights on each side of the license plate recess... Micheal Svoboda is the COO of Driveway Deals and has a love for corvettes since middle school when he seen a 63 Split Window going through restoration.
