The last of the rear bumper cars! GM made the switch to a no front bumper to create a smoother line in 73 when they wanted the flow down the car, and this Yellow over Black is no exception... Micheal Svoboda is the COO of Driveway Deals and has a love for corvettes since middle school when he seen a 63 Split Window going through restoration.
1973 Chevrolet Corvette is a last of the rear bumpers: a great color combo, with four-speed manual transmission and a non numbers matching L82 – 350ci V8 power plant.
This car is a special one. Very nice paint job in 1973 Yellow grabs everyone’s attention! This truly is an icon from 1970’s! So, we’re glad to see a quality investment in a recent respray that has a nice gloss.
And this smooth finish is great for 1973 because it debuted the new sleeker front end. The rest of the body is believed to be original.
The correct black interior looks great against the Yellow paint for a factory-correct and true ’70s style machine. Corvettes have always been a great personal sports car in providing performance features with plenty of creature comforts to make it a great long-distance cruiser for two.
We all love taking the T-tops out and going for a drive, and this one is ready for it even in the summer.
The engine bay gives you the best of both worlds. This is a non numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. The updated powerhouse has added pep without crossing over into brute force, and that makes for a nice pairing with the numbers-matching four-speed manual transmission.
It makes for an all-around awesome driver thanks to power steering, four-wheel power brakes, and the fully independent suspension.
