This is a custom built replica of the award winning 1955 Chevy Post, built to exact specifications and fine original details preserving many features. With unique bodywork, custom hood, and a blend of original and modern components, this vehicle offers a distinctive and nostalgic driving experience.

 

 

Exterior: The exterior of this 1955 Chevy 210 Post Gasser is finished in a light Metallic Blue with Pearl White accent panels. The car features beautifully applied pinstripes and flames by the son of Vic Kesler, the original artist. The steel hood includes a functional glass scoop, enhancing its gasser appearance. The bodywork showcases superb fitment of all panels, and the overall look is completed with Lee lenses and period-correct details. This vehicle previously won “Best Paint” at the Nassau Coliseum Car Show, highlighting its stunning finish.

 

 

Interior: Inside, the 210 Post Gasser features a Black interior designed to match the original car, down to the column-mounted dual horns and three spoke steering wheel. The door panels are classic, and the new adjustable bucket seats provide comfort and support. The Mr. Gasket shifter with reverse lockout and a brand-new boot adds a touch of authenticity. The interior also includes the original Pioneer stereo with cassette tape, original tachometer and fuel gauge, and Stewart Warner gauges with a dash-mounted Sun tachometer. There is a fuel pressure gauge mounted outside the windshield, and the spacious rear bench seat and vinyl headliner complete the interior.

 

 

Mechanical: Under the hood, this 1955 Chevy 210 Post Gasser is powered by a 350ci V8 engine with a mild cam and steel heads. The engine features a Holley 850 double pumper carburetor, headers leading to an X-pipe and Flowmaster exhaust, and an Accel Super Coil (new old stock). Finned aluminum valve covers and a large aluminum radiator ensure optimal performance and cooling. The rare close-ratio Muncie M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed transmission provides a unique driving experience, complemented by the car’s impressive exhaust note.
