This 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 Thunderbolt Coupe is a stunning fully restored recreation, combining classic design with powerful performance. This car features a freshly rebuilt 427ci center oiler motor producing approximately 500 horsepower, paired with a 4-speed top loader manual transmission. The exterior is finished in Burgundy, while the interior features Tan vinyl. With 80,526 miles on the odometer, this Thunderbolt is equipped with numerous performance enhancements and vintage details, making it a standout vehicle.

 

 

Exterior: The 1963 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt Coupe boasts a Burgundy exterior with a fiberglass nose, teardrop hood, fenders, and front bumper. The car is equipped with iconic air intake through the center headlights and rides on American Racing Torque Thrust wheels. Additional exterior features include a tow bar up front for racing, gorgeous chrome and stainless detailing, and a beautiful, straight body with great lines all around.

 

 

Interior: Inside, the Thunderbolt features a Tan vinyl interior with great bucket seats. The car includes beautiful gauges with an old school Autometer tach, water, and temperature gauges. The interior is designed for raw power, with no visors, no radio, no console, no carpet, and no clock. The plain Jane vinyl floor adds to the minimalist, race-focused aesthetic.

 

 

Mechanical: Under the hood, this Thunderbolt is powered by a freshly rebuilt 427ci  center oiler motor with about 500 horsepower. The engine features a Mickey Thompson cross ram with dual Holley carburetors, aluminum Cobra LeMans valve covers, and a rare OEM Mallory Promaster coil with an old school Mallory distributor. The power is delivered through a 4-speed top loader transmission with an Indi shifter. The car is also equipped with long tube headers leading to dual exhaust with big chamber Flow Master mufflers, a Ford 9-inch posi rear with traction bars, and 4:56 gears.
