Steve Garrett's View

This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Black Convertible is fully restored and will provide spirited and luxurious transportation for two. Backed by the potent 327 engine and 4-speed transmission, it will give you a different kind of driving experience than maybe you ever had. In fact, this was one of the most potent small block cars on the street in 1967 of any brand. These second generation (C2) Corvettes are arguably the most desirable Corvette bodies to have, and they are always climbing in value in the collector market. Preview: 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Black Convertible- a slick example of America’s only true sports car! This Convertible Corvette, with a great restoration, has a beautiful Black finish, Black convertible top and Black interior. It runs as good as it looks and best of all a 327 cubic inch engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission with a big block hood!

Exterior: This 1967 Stingray is beautiful and has the great repainted black that covers the big block hood with 427 emblems on it, louvers behind the front wheels that help increase air flow through the engine compartment, and curving rear fenders, that gives it both an aggressive and sophisticated look. All the emblems, the chrome front and rear bumpers and taillights, door handle, and the flip-up gas cap remain in as-new condition as well as the correct Rally wheels with redline tires which recreate the original look.

Interior: This Stingray offers a restored completely luxurious driving environment. It interior features individual black twin bucket-type seats that have a factory bolster-like design for more seating comfort and better lateral support and the black theme extends to the carpet, door panels, and dual sun visors, chrome 4-speed shifter, central console with its electric clock and radio controls, matched speedometer and tachometer are the primary instruments in the Sting Ray with an electrical fuel gauge, electrical coolant temperature gauge, ammeter, and an oil pressure gauge. A re-settable trip odometer, head-light switch, head-lamp retractor switch, hood release, aftermarket stereo radio in the glove box, and ignition switch complete the instrument panel with the great factory wood steering wheel also.

Mechanical: This Corvette just exudes performance from the minute you open the hood and see the 327 cubic inch engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. The engine is a #3782870 engine block code which is period correct and looks like it would have looked back when it was new. It has the factory orange painted engine block and cylinder heads, chrome factory open air element air cleaner, aluminum Chevrolet scripted factory valve covers, dual exhaust, power brakes, aluminum intake, performance carb, shielded distributor, chrome alternator, performance spark plug wires, H.D. radiator, and backed by a Muncie 4-speed and a clean chassis with all the right parts.
