What is “factory style power steering?”
427Auctions –
From the seller: It did not originally come with power steering but a factory power steering rack and pump was installed. It is what would have come from the factory if the car was ordered that way.

Clean carFax? Accidents? Maintenance records? Why was rear rebuilt
427Auctions –
From the seller: CarFax only goes as far back as 1981 so they would not have a record of this Corvette. The car does not appear to have ever been in an accident. The bonding strips are still in place in the fenders and quarters. We did not receive any service records with the car unfortunately, and I am not certain as to why they rebuilt the rear end. Most likely due to a leak.

Any strange smells? Gasoline? Cigarettes?
427Auctions –
Seller states that car is very clean with no smells.
