Preview: Presenting the ultra-rare 1969 Ford Mustang ‘E’ Fastback, one of only 96 units ever produced. This Concours condition model is believed to be the last remaining example, fully documented by the “Mustang E Registry.” With 48,693 miles on the odometer, this Mustang has undergone a six-year rotisserie restoration to full MCA (Mustang Club of America) standards, ensuring it remains in concours condition. The vehicle features a specially designed 4.1L inline 6-cylinder engine and a 3-speed C4 automatic transmission.

Exterior: The exterior of this 1969 Ford Mustang ‘E’ Fastback is finished in its original color, Luxurious Silver Jade. The vehicle retains the Mustang ‘E’ decals on the rear fenders, distinguishing it from other 6-cylinder models. Built at Ford’s Dearborn, Michigan facility, this Mustang rolled off the assembly line on November 21, 1968. The restoration has preserved its original look, making it one of the rarest and most historically significant Mustangs in existence.

Interior: Inside, the Mustang features a beautifully restored black interior that complements the Luxurious Silver Jade exterior. The restoration adhered to MCA standards, ensuring every detail matches the car’s original specifications. The interior includes the original Mustang shifter, kickdown, and neutral switch, maintaining the vehicle’s authentic feel. The black vinyl upholstery and trim reflect the high-quality craftsmanship of the restoration process.

Mechanical: Under the hood, this 1969 Ford Mustang ‘E’ Fastback is powered by a specially designed 4.1L, 250ci inline 6-cylinder engine with an increased 9.5:1 compression ratio. The engine is equipped with a specially made Autolite carburetor and a unique cooling system featuring a 196-203 degree thermostat, a 6-blade cooling fan, and a radiator with 13 fins per inch. The 3-speed C4 automatic transmission includes an oversized torque converter and a low 2.33:1 rear axle ratio, designed for improved fuel economy. Air conditioning was intentionally omitted from all Mustang ‘E’ models.
