This 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible is a customized car with a powerful stroked engine, a 4-speed manual transmission, and various aftermarket performance parts with APR hardware throughout. The exterior is finished in its original blue color paint with a blue interior. This Chevelle has a well-maintained and powerful engine, it drives and runs fantastic. It includes a copy of the original title, original Protect -O- Plate, Owners manual, convertible top manual. Micheal Svoboda is the COO of Driveway Deals and has a love for corvettes since middle school when he seen a 63 Split Window going through restoration.

Preview: This 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible boasts a stroked 489ci V8 engine rated at 600 horsepower and a brand new M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed manual transmission. The car retains its original color Grotto Blue and blue interior, with additional details including staggered wheels, four T3 headlights, and described-as-“perfect” chrome accents. This Chevelle has had 4 owners and has 60K original miles. It has been owned by a seasoned mechanic and shop owner. This is such a pretty car with a great sound and it fantastic.

Exterior: The car is finished in Grotto Blue, it’s original color. This Chevelle has staggered wheels with aluminum slotted mags, four T3 headlights, and “perfect chrome and near perfect brightwork.” It has 3-Inch H- Pipe Exhaust with manual cut-outs with Flow Master Mufflers leading to correct Oval Tips. The body is all original and super straight, with original floors, quarters, fenders, etc.

Interior: The interior is drenched in blue with an Auto Sound radio with AUX in, AutoMeter gauges, a center-mounted tick tock tachometer, and crisp, clear gauge lenses. It has gorgeous window felts and the heater controls are noted to be “like new.” It has a beautiful trunk with original pan, jack and spare tire.

Mechanical: The original engine has been stroked from a 454 to a 489 cubic inch engine producing 600 horsepower. It is paired with a brand new M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter and line lock. Other performance modifications include Edelbrock Performer high-flow aluminum heads, Flowmaster long tube headers, Edelbrock Performer intake, Quick Fuel 750 double pumper carburetor, chrome valve covers, K&N style high-flow air filter, a large radiator, 12-bolt posi rear end with Strange axles and 3.55 gears, power steering, and power disc brakes. It also features a manual fuel pump, electronic ignition ad a new heater core.
