Micheal Svoboda's View

Did you know…The 1973 Chevrolet Corvette was the first "Rubber Bumper" Vette. The front chrome bumper was replaced with a federally mandated 5 MPH bumper that changed its looks significantly. This is the only year that a rubber front bumper and chrome rear bumper were used at the same time. A new side brace was added as well to increase safety. This was also the last year for the small spoiler at the back of the car. Micheal Svoboda is the COO of Driveway Deals and has a love for corvettes since middle school when he seen a 63 Split Window going through restoration.

1973 Restored Red Coupe. It’s a real head turner with its bright red paint, custom hood, black bucket seats interior, 350ci V8 engine, and a 3-speed automatic transmission.

Exterior: Bright red paint
Cold air custom induction hood
T-tops, Great chrome, correct factory Rallye wheels, Black sidewall tires, Large rectangular exhaust tips

Interior: Black twin bucket seat interior
Factory appointments like gauges, seat belts, center console, Corvette AM/FM stereo radio system, factory dash, map holder, air conditioning, matching door panels, Corvette floor mats, black carpeting, Power steering
Power brakes, Updated electronics and woodgrain everywhere.

Mechanical: Base L-48 350ci V8engine that produced 190 horsepower that looks as stock as new with the addition of an open element air cleaner.
Factory cowl induction black factory air cleaner, Aluminum intake
4-barrel carb, Tubular headers
Factory hoses, Dual exhaust system
3-speed Automatic transmission

Overview: The bright red paint makes this Vette an attention getter. The custom hood looks great and attracts a lot of attention and also it removes the automatic panel that hid the windshield wipers. Vents in the hood and by the windshield wipers provide cold outside air for the engine also. The new ducts on the sides behind the front wheels were non-trimmed and consist of just one large hole and some body styling. It has T-tops, great chrome and trim, large rectangular exhaust tips, and has a great presentation. Don’t miss out!
